Default 350 H.O. Crate engine

Would a 350 HO work in an 89 vette if I used the a different Edlebrock intake baseplate thats supposed to work with vortec heads? Cause the HO has vortec heads and stock my car has aluminum, but doing an engine swap and just wanted to find out if this could be an option for me?

you have to buy vortec styled tpi base if you keep it all original. Did you consider buying a 383 crate motor, they are very chep now.

Where from? What kind of 383, it would have to be under $4000, for me to be able to afford it.

Go to Scoggin-Dickey, they have the manifold base you need for a TPI on Vortec heads..
