DRM 84 - 87 J55 brake Adapters?
Anyone have pics or install instructions?
DRM no longer make these so no info online from them.
They appear to mount only one way and everything lines up correctly except I can not move the caliper foward to engage the original caliper mounts on the spindle .
The machined internal cutout of the adapter is smaller than the original mounts
Any experience?
I have bought a few things from them and even stuff thats not on the web site they talk about-Might just shoot them a note and see if they can help you out-I have always had very good service from them--FYI Really love your country--spent 3 weeks there a few years back and cant wait to return--The nicest people I have ever met-
Good Luck on your search.
Cheers,
Ron

They still show up on DRMs web page http://www.dougrippie.com/drm/brake_...nting hardware
I have a different looking one.
The one I have bolts to the inside and then has spacers that go outboard to the caliper bracket.
Here is a link that may also help.
In it CC says "And it looks like those drm adapters fit just like i said.... those long bolts go in backwards, and the adapter mounts on the inner surface of the knuckle, then extends around it to be flush with the outer knuckle surface."

I have the plans from other members to do the flat plate adapter ,some have used , just that I had these on the shelf
