Shouldn't MAP levels go UP when you give a car throttle? Mine's going down. I think it may be related to a vacuum leak I've got from a piece broken during the engine work.
Voltage should be around 1-2 volts at idle and increase to 4 to 5 volts at WOT.
There should be THREE wires attached to your MAP sensor.
Ground -
+5 volts from the ECM
MAP Output -- Varies With Manifold Pressure
It definately goes up... My stock 1 bar MAP reads 103 KPa at 8 pounds of boost for me (WOT) .. around 40 KPa at idle orabout 11.8 hg at idle and 30.4 hg at WOT being normally aspirated yours will be probably a little lower at idle and not near as high at WOT
