89 wheel tire combo
I am thinking about getting these for my 89.

Anyone have them? Does the 11" width fit under the rear without a problem? What tire size is optimal? I like the thought of going with the wider rear, as long as they fit under the car.

Seems a little pricey to me. See my avatar to the left. I bought this set of four for my 89 coupe complete with tires, lug nuts, locks, mounted and balanced for just under 1,200 bucks. Call the guys at Bones Enterprises in Tucker, Georgia. They also run specials on ebay.
Not sure if the 11 inch wide rims will fit. I just went with factory size.

I put Nexen 275/40 ZR 17 with sweeping directional tread pattern and bead protector. They are sticky as hell. I really have to push it to get them to slide. I put them on 17" x 9.5" rims. (Stock size)They are ZO6 style rims.
They had the style you are looking at. The cost was about the same.

Those wheels will fit your car with no problems. You can go with a 315/35/17 tire in the rear.
