Hedman Elites as Summit/Jegs. No other LT header in their price range.

Decent fit/quality too.

Thats where I will be going when I convert to headers. Hooker, Stainless Works, Exotic Muscle ect are all good brands and they cost alot. Be sure to get any header ceramic coated. It reduces heat and makes sure the header doesn't rust or peel like paint would.

If you don't need to retain the AIR pump, go with the Hedman Elites #68448. About $400 at Summit Racing.

The Elites have heavier gauge tubing (14 ga.) and 3/8" flanges where the Hedman Street headers #68446 have 18 ga. tubes and 1/4" flanges. The Street headers have a similar thermal coating but not as good as the coating on the Elites. There is only a $50 difference so go with the Elites.

The Elites also have a ball-flange reducer that allows the headers to connect to your pipes that may not exactly line up. That saves a lot of time in making the connection.

You will need to have an O2 bung welded in at the reducer and extend the wire. With the headers, it may take a bit longer for the ECM to go into closed loop but it will happen.

The Hedman headers will require some minor modifications to the rear A/C support bracket and to the rear alternator bracket but it's not a biggie to do. You should also install new plug wires at the same time and get wires with all 90 degree elbows at the plugs.
