Need help!! My '89 Vette will not produce any air or heat..I have read past problems in dealing with this..the cleaning of the evaporator..clr of the return flow hose...i have flushed out the cooling system...blownout the intake and out of the heater core...Nothing!!! :mad
i have pulled the fan motor..all is well there...i have blown the heater core intake and outrun out with air...rehooked the system up..and coolant was present on both sides.....also..when blowing out w/ air, flow seemed to be od equal pressure, so , am i to assume..no clog? I have been viewing other 89 problems.,,someone said, they had fuse relays under the dash, is this true? I have only seen and read (Chilton repair manual), that they are exclusively set on the side of the passenger side bump panel.
Were ya lurking in here when I posted mine? Just in case, here it is: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=202649
I have posted this quite a few times this winter  I really hope this helps. Each time I have posted this, I never heard back if it helped or if the prob was rectified. Goodluck

Thanx for your help..God knows my wife is getting ornery driving with gloves on  I have to pull the control panel tommorow anyway, soldering the board back to the box,(it keeps coming and going on us). Thanx for your help, I will let you know how it went.
ok...opened up the controller and....not the same set-up..no hoses to speak of...just resisitors. capacitors and the such... Good news, i see one resistor that looks like a melt down, problem is, the bands are so melted down, hard to tell what i am looking for , looks like a 1 watt resistor, bands look like brown red silver gold. (my understanding, 1 2 divide by 100 @ 5% tolerence). other than that i see no other pieces bad. :mad
