The upright, halfshaft & subaxle can all stay in place.

Just slide the hub off the subaxle once all the fasteners are out.

I didnt want to destroy the T55 heads, and I could not get good leverage under the car so i felt it was the smartest thing to do. Bear in mind, my car is an 86, and it everything is original, you guys with newer cars might not have as much problems. All my bushings need to be replaced, pulling my half shaft revealed a bad U joint, and today I checked my shocks and they need replacing, so you see you might uncover potential problems. I cleaned up all the parts and they look great! the only thing is now I have to go do the same thing to the passenger side! ugh

I still cant get the hub off. All my bolts are super stubburn and I cant even remove one bolt. All I have off is the wheel, the brake system and the 36mm nut. This is driving me nuts and I am trying to stay away from someone else doing it. I need some advice or help.
