LT4 valve train question

LT4 valve train question
I had a rocker rotate off to the side on the valve stem on front cylinder on driver's side of car. The nut holding the rocker was tight. The rocker and pushrod both ruined. Have all ready ordered replacements. Car has 60,000 miles.
Is this a normal problem with the LT4 motor?
While I have this valve cover off, any suggestions on other things to check or do before putting it back together?
