I have a 1989 Vette Tuned port injection with a 350 automatic. My problem is the car will start fine when engine is cold but once it warms up a for a couple minutes and I turn it off it will not start, will turn over but thats it. The only way it will start if I spray some carb clener into the carb. I have changed many sensors and i have put it on scanner and comes back clean no defaults or codes. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds exactly how my problems started. I now believe it's my original injectors that were never ethanol compliant and am about to replace them. Check the first posts here by Jon of FIC - fuel injector connection. He has several posts here about this very issue. Since my problems started last October I've learned more than I ever wanted to about fuel injection and fuel itself - standards lacking thereof. Good luck. My believe is that the original Multec injectors are not ethanol tolerant so might as well replace them at the first opportunity.
mine does that, only doesnt start after a short trip say 5 - 10 mins but other than that starts and stops fine
I first became aware of the problem last Oct. i had just filled it with Hess Premium (ethanol), drove around doing errands trips of 10 to 30 miles never a problem. Then I stopped at a hardware store in my town - she wouldn't start - even after repeated tries. Walked home (memories of the Fords I've had) got the Jeep and came back, picked up my shopping stuff, had to repeat the trip 3 times over 6 hours before she'd start. Drove it straight home and walked back to get the Jeep. Haven't driven it since due to weather. This was on a Sat eve. lotsa luck if I'd been stranded out of town - the AAA doesn't have a flatbed, and we don't have cabs. I have no idea what I could have done. No garage open after 5 on sat.
Sounds like you have one or more leaking injectors. See posts by Jon at FIC for some useful insights. It would also be a good idea to thoroughly clean the throttle body valves and the MAF sensor with the appropriate cleaners.
