Is this a part from my Corvette ?
When we rebuilt my transmission we took the driveshaft and exhaust off the car,we put everything back in place and we were working on a well and i found this part ...which i saved it
but it may come from another car that somebody were working there
i was not sure ....what you think ????

we forgot that but the exhaust seems really really tight now
in fact tighter than before.....
Rod do you have an actual pic of where do this thingy go ????

On the trans tailshaft housing below where the driveshaft yoke comes out are 2 holes that the bracket bolts to.
See ebay Item number: 120337400709 , has the 2 bolts attached
Should be a bottom half to the bracket also
