You still need to deal with the vapors though. When I performed the Canisterectomy on mine, I made two loops of new line and put a roll over tip valve on it. This way the tank can vent fumes and in case of liquid coming through or a roll over, it will seal shut. I used an in-line model from a fuel cell.
If I remove the vapor recovery system do I have to have the prom recalibrated. 86 vette,730ECM. Thanks
how do you have a 730 ecm, stock was a 165, you swapped it out?
either way no reprogramming, but I still zero out those tables (couple of tables, and raise min. temp. etc.) so it doeasn't try to make the purge command.
