Fan kit

Has anyone bought a fan kit for their car to make the fan turn on at 200 or lower. I bought one but havent installed it yet. Does it work pretty good? Is hard to install?

I used TunerCat to program my fans to come on at 185* and 195*, works real well

I had a low temp fan switch in my 93 before getting the ECM tuned and it worked well, the install was easy, but an LT1 may be different than your 89 car. The switch did set a quad driver module code because the ECM saw the relay closed prior to commanding fan run but the code did not illuminate the SES light.
