Do underdrive pulleys really help.
I am thinking about putting underdrive pulleys on my L98.But do you really see any gains in them.I would like to pick up a tenth or too.That would put me in the mid 11's.An if so which one's do you recommend.The car already has trickflow heads,1.6 roller tip rockers,slp runners,52 mm throttle body,hooker long tubes,2 1/2 in flow master mufflers&150 Hp NOS shot.Or does any have any other sugestions With out having to go in to the motor.Thank you Terry.

I'm sure on a dyno there may be one or two more HP to be found with them. But I would look to tuning as teh answer to find the extra E.T. you are looking for. Try playing with the NOS jets. Got to a dyno and tune for A/F ratio on there with the NOS. Money better spent on dyno time than on pulleys.

I have the March underdrive pulley set and the motor spins up a little faster though I didn't see a gain in trap speed due to other issues. Plus I do have some idle charging issues that I live with (I didn't install the overdrive alt pulley yet). You might try cutting back your spark plug ground electrodes for that 10hp gain but if you want pulleys March makes good units.
With your mods I too suggest you just do some tuning; try a few dyno pulls with a wide band O2 sensor or some passes at the strip.

I have already put it on the dyno an got the air fuel dialed in.I have also heard you pick up some with a msd box.I have a 6a box I could put on it.Thanks for the help and if you can thing of any thing else please let me know.
