No, 30# shouldn't be too large. I just got done putting 30#'s in mine and I'm not going to be adding nitrous. You might need more than 30# because you will have to add more fuel to level out the AFR with the nitrous...

A quick note about adding N2O. If you are planning on doing a dry system the fuel comes through the injectors, if you are going with a wet system the fuel gets thrown through your intake. I looked into getting one this winter, but my distributor went bad and I'm using the money to fix that and a few other things that go along easily with it. Check out nitrouswarehouse.com I called the guy one sunday morning and bs with him for quite a while, he knows his stuff.

Well, I would also be installing a higher flow fuel pump with the Nitrous install just curious about the 30lbs injectors.

Actually, I think the 86's were closer to 22 lb/hr. The 85's used a 24 lb/hr injector. As a rule of thumb, it take 0.5 lb of fuel per horsepower per hour. So 30 lb/hr injectors could theoritically support (30)x8/(.5) = 480 hp. But that would be at 100% duty cycle. You don't want to run at 100% duty cycle, though. If you run at 80%, then 30 lb/hr injectors could support 384 hp.
