Default replacement bolts and tap for Superram

Some of the threads in my plenum box are damaged so I need to re-tap them after a little welding. I also miss some of the small bolts between the runners and the plenum box.
Anyone know a good place to get a tap, appropriate sized drill and the bolts? I think the bolts are 12-point 1/4 28X3/4". Non-metric bolts and taps are quite difficult to find where I live.

Thanks
Goran

You don't necessarily have to weld the plenum, just drill and tap for the next larger bolt. I don't have the runner to plenum bolt size right here. Help will soon follow. Good luck.

I would prefer to keep the "stock" appearence if possible. I have noticed this have some impact of the re-sell value (planning to switch over to a single plane some time in the future) and I need some welding done anyway (due to some of my previous not very successfull mods...). I usually get all my stuff from the big mail-order houses like Summit and CNC-motorsports. Unfortunately, they don´t offer these items.

Goran, the plenum bolts are 1/4 28 x 1/2" socket button head screws. The runners use 12 point 1/4 28 x 3/4" bolts (similar to an arp brand). Here's a link to where I sourced my plenum bolts: http://www.boltdepot.com/material.aspx?cc=13&cs=72 I got the new runner bolts from Arp fasteners.

I would think you could get the tap from e-bay or any of the tool houses over the net.......G/L
