Default MAP operation??
With my 95 stock LT1 running, I unplugged the MAP sensor electrical connector and nothing happened. No change in engine idle, nothing.....is this normal? Or have I found the possible problem to my hot problem??

The MAP only monitors the relation of the manifold vacuum to other sensors like the TPS. You shouldn't see any difference in idle with the MAP disconnected.

Nope...but I do not think I had it unplugged long enough for the ECM to respond. According to the FSM, it takes a minute of no MAP signal to trigger a fault.
