Default Nov-Dec 2008 Summit Catalog

Anyone have that issue? Source code P16100 on the back page.

If so, do me a favor; look on page 165 and see if the price of AFR-0908 cylinder heads, for the LT1, isn't listed at $1,440.95

That's what my catalog shows and I'm having sort of a back and forth over the price.

Thanks,

Jake

In case you haven't looked at Summit's website, its substantially more than that there.

Yes, I have. That's another reason I posted.

That was the price in my two expired catalogs (t16102 expired Dec 31 and W11110 expired Feb 28th)

My latest catalog W12110 has them on page 158 at $1793.95

Right, that's what I thought, that's they've been advertised at the $1,440 price. Now they're showing a $350 increase.

I'm going to call and ask for the lower price and, if I can't get it, I'll buy from someone or somewhere else, like through another Forum member or JEGS.

Not only that, but the remainder of the parts I'll need for my son's cam/heads upgrade will be purchased elsewhere too.

A $350+ increase is OUTRAGEOUS! In fact, I'd rather pay more than $1,793 rather than be just another victim of bait-and-switch advertising.

Thanks for those Source Codes.

Jake.

I believe that was an error on Summit's part. The LTx Eliminators have always been more money then the SBC1 Eliminators.

I hope you can get them for $1440, but I am doubtful you will.

Jegs shows them within a few dollars of the price on Summit's site.
