idle normally in the 600s but it will randomly go to 800 sometimes 1100.
any ideas?
Either clean or replace your IAC and clean your throttle body/butterflys. Or if you are lazy, run a can of SeaFoam thru the brake booster vacuum hose and other half in your gas tank.
Thanks a million runner140* and mikec4, right after i sent you the pm i got my dad and he found it for me. i have no patience. It was hidden pretty well but he found it in 10 seconds. lol I took it out cleaned it with carb n choke cleaner then some wd-40 dried it. put it back it runs great!
DO NOT use carb cleaner on a TB and especially not on an IAC. My 1st IAC I ruined putting throttle body cleaner on it.
Maybe you will be lucky and it won't hurt it, take out the IAC and using the plastic extension, take TB cleaner and spray it down the opening in the TB where the air from the IAC comes out and then clean the area where the IAC goes in w/cleaner and use a pipe cleaner and push it through the hole.
