I have a 88 TPI. I recently disassembled the plenum, runners, intake, distributor and throttle body. Now I put them back together and I have a loose vacuum end
Maybe you guys can help me out. I put some pictures here. Maybe you notice something whats wrong with my L98 vacuum lines. When I fired it up it rumbled when idling, but I think its because timing isn't right.

On my 87 that connector is located at rear on driver side of motor main line in on botton coming from harness one line goes to AC vent control one line to FPR. The front line you call a loose end goes in throttle body passenger side just below water outlet. There should be a routing diagram driver’s side fan shroud. I don’t know why someone moved the connector to front of motor. Connector on rear of plenum passenger side should go to ERG rear line and front into air pump next to AC .

That connector goes to the right rear, tees to the climate control, vacuum canister, etc.
