Default tune me in please

I want to put plugs in a 88 vette and need advise. The old plugs have been in for at least 12-13 years. Do you think they could be seized and what precautions should I take when I remove them to prevent damage? Also how do you get to the 2 plugs under the a.c. compressor. Surly this has been asked more that once. I would appreciate any insight you have before I attempt this.

My plug were in my 88 for many years, and the car sat for a long time before i got it. Some of them came out "tough". I just worked the hard ones slowly and backed them out a bit, then tightened back up. Repeat this and they will come out further every time you try to back them out. Once you get them a little loose you can spray some pb blaster or something like it down the plug threads. Under the compressor is hard but not impossible. It was much easier to remove the fenderwell panel to expose the plug area under the compressor. I used extensions and a wobble joint on the ratchet.

Thanks for your advise Tom. It seems this type question is not for the forum as not many members commented. I guess my question was too elementary. I will try what you did and see how that works for me. Thank you again.

Just make sure the motor is stone cold when you change the plugs. A hot or even warm motor will make the plugs come out hard an can even strip in the worst case senario..WW
