Default std or high volume oil pump.

mild 350 lt4 rebuild. (around 350 horse) Can I run a high volume oil pump with this set up with the stock oil pan? are all sbc oil pumps the same or is it different on ltx engines? can i just go with the melling 155hv?

I've always read don't use a high volume pump with the stock pan on the LTx engines.

I use the Lingenfelter recommendation on my motors. Std volume but I change the spring to a high pressure. Works great!

Lingenfelter website's price is cheaper then autozone for the M155. They sell all you need including the spring if you want it.
