Default Lowering on stock bolts

Has anyone lowered their C4 on stock bolts? Can this be done at home?
Recommend any lowering kit?

Can and should are 2 separate things. How much are you willing to lower it? If you do use the factory bolts, be sure to drill another hole for the cotter pin (so the nuts don't fly completely off). Mid America sells a kit for $40 or so. IMHO if you use the stock bolts, you won't lower it as much as most people (and possibly you) would want to.

good luck!

If you just need to drop the back end, I used these.

I have been thinking about doing that also as I only would like the rear about 1 inch lower. It sits good now fronts 26 to opening rear is 28 but I run 40's on front & 45's on rear fronts are about a finger width below opening, when I ran 40's in rear it was about 271/4 would like to move it back to around that height. I was thinking using a second nut to tighten with a star washer would hold OK and stop it from backing off.
