painting the vette
I recall a thread about someone having their vette painted by students at a vo-tech school, sort of like a project car where they paid for paint and supplies. Does anyone recall this, or has anyone had any experience with scenario.

I guess it matter how much you like your vette, and how picky you are. I suppose if you were looking for a 25 footer it would be ok.
JMO.......I would never consider it. Maybe a toyota, though.

exactly - if your looking cheap, why dont you prep it, and take it to MAKO, at least (most)those guys have experience with a gun!

I have a friend who went through this type of school and he is an excellent painter. I definitely would not call their work "25 footer", its every bit as good as a factory job, better if you request it. I'm sure quality would vary by school of course but why not take a look at some of their work and decide for yourself? Gotta be better than Maaco
