If he wants to go completly catless, he should replace the empty shells with test pipe. The empty shells will cause turbulence which will defeat the purpose of deleting the cats to gain horsepower. If he wants to go high flow, get a reputable brand like catco, random tech, magnaflow ect. Not some no name cheap thing. The good high flow cats filter better and do not restrict anywhere near as much as the original cats especially if they are clogged.
