rear cliking
i have this cliking noise whent i put the car on gear or when i first give it gas i had the u joints replcace last year i have read about the teflon washer can cause the cliking my question is what else could cause the cliking noise its very anoying cant wait to get the issue corrected and to replce the washer what would be the easy way to replace them;;;;;;;;;;; thank you

I dont know if this helps or not but I replaced mine when I did my wheel bearings. I removed the whole knuckle. You should be able to get the axle out by undoing the U-joint clamp on the diff end and remove the nut on the wheel end of the axle. Then the axle should just come out. Put the new washer on and put the axle back in.

cliking noise
this afternoon i jack up the car to check 4 play when i place my and hands 12-6 passengear rear i do notice some play nothing 3-9 i had my wife move the car on diffrent gears and i can hear the binding,clicking could that be that i need to replce washer and hub the driver side rear had no play

My rear passenger side makes a clunking noise at low speeds over rough(er) pavement. It sounds like we are talking about the same noise.
I changed the wheel bearing and U-joints on that side over the weekend, but the noise persists. All of the bushings looked in OK condition, although now that I think about it I didn't check the top strut mount. That is the only thing I can think of that is producing the noise.
