I converted a '87 4+3 coupe to ZF 6-speed with all the parts that came out of a 1994 wreck. I used an article I am sure I have somewhere that tells how to do this conversion. I can FAX it to you when I located it. I think it was written by the ZF Doctor (see below) out west, maybe in Arizona.
E-mail billb@zfdoc.com or call Bill Boudreau at (602) 319-6575.
i put a zf6 speed(new $1500) in my 86 4+3.i used my
original flywheel, new clutch, new bellhousing, new smaller
starter motor and some patience.just like everything
else after you do it you realize it was not that hard!
Good luck.

Did you use the stock ball pivot stud or the ZR1 stud?
Clutch disc was a sprung or unspring disc?
New clutch slave?
New Yoke ?
Cut the tunnel?
Speedo corrector for the 3.07 gear?
Not trying to be a but, just trying to relay all of the info to the OP
