Default Suspension Bushing Options

I am preparing to did deeper into my suspension rebuild. I have read much about the poly bushing option. Energy Suspension and Prothane. I understand the up side and the down side to the poly bushings. So now I am wondering, has anyone gone back with a factory type rubber bushing? What are the options for rubber?

If anyone has a poly kit they have not yet used and want to sale, at an attractive price, send me a pm!

Man, I got the poly bushings package for the rear of the car, when I did the wheel bearing. the bushings and the shocks and the new 1/2 axle U joints really make the car feel solid and quiet, you cant believe how many squeaks and knocks are gone, I dont have the bling for the front end bushings but I went and bought 2 new shocks to start off with.

Sounds like it paid off for you... All this extra work payoffs in the long run. My bushings are not bad but they are definately aging. I guess it is a "while I have the car apart" thing!" I will more than likely get the polyurethane kit for the whole car via Summit but was curious if anyone went back to OEM rubber?

same thing as you, just doing the bearing, oh, sh**t the U-joints are bad, might as well do both sides, who wants to do this all over again!
my bushings were all cracked and breaking apart, so I read all the threads and the only logical solution was poly. (I did not change the
differential carrier bushing)

I just rebuilt my entire front suspension and replaced all the bushings with poly ones. I cant believe the difference, it rides smoother and quieter. The best price at the time I bought mine was at Summit.

I just rebuilt the entire suspension with the Energy suspension master kit. It includes everything but the bushings required for the sway bars. Ordered the swaybar kits for my size bars from Summit. If you put poly bushings in use lots of the grease on them. So far mine isn't squeaking. Squeaking after is the most common complaint.
The bushing color I used was black so they look just like the stock rubber.

I don't think you can find rubber busings anymore, I know thats a problem for some folks.

I'm doing rodends in the back

For the front I want to go with delrin-aluminum

If you put polys in the back, make sure they're not binding. Our IRS links need to go through some wacky angles.
