Default Lug nut replacement

I think I need to change /replace the lug nuts expecially on the rear wheels.
Is there some replacement part number to search?
I'm looking to see a replacement part number on Summit catalog.
Thanks
-Beppe.

I bought 5 lug nuts for my 86' from Advance Auto parts. I think they were about $1 each. They have worked just fine so far (they have been on the car a couple of years).

The ones at Advance Auto will work just fine. Be sure to torque to 100 ft-lbs.

Yes. Advance has both. Ones with external threads and ones without.

Unfortunately I don't think Italy has advance auto part stores.

Actually there are a number of GM cars that use the same lug nut with a plastic cap. Cavaliers, some Camaro's, and even Pontiacs, and Buicks use them. The part number should be the same for any of them.

If you can't find the stock GM lugnuts then you could use any lug nut that has the same thread pitch and diameter as the Corvette wheel stud. But the new nuts will have to have a 60 degree taper for them to fit the hole in the wheel. Again with just regular lug nuts, most any fairly new GM passenger car will use the same size lug nut and will most likely have the same taper.

Is there any type of GM dealership in Milan? I would think there would be one in Rome but that's a fair distance to drive Maybe Munich?? Some of the Corvette accesory catalogs will do international shipments, but it cost a bunch by the time you add freight and duty/customs taxes.

Not a bad idea for everyone with C4 to take a look at their lug nuts. When I got looking at mine years ago they scared me. They had hardly any threads left in them. Cheap insurance under $25.
