Default What re-program chip for cooling?
I put a 160 in my lt1 and want to have my fans come on sooner. It is a 94 w/47k- Thanks

No chip in your 94, you'll need to reflash the PCM.

there are also other options besides programming the computer to turn them on sooner, like a manual switch.

Who has the manual switches? Also, which method is preferable, the manual switch or reprogram?

The manual switch you control. The reprogram lets the PCM tell the fans when to activate, which can be any temps you desire.
