What tranny do I have?
The car is a 1993 Automatic. Build number 3,455. What model transmission do I have?
( I would look under the bumper to see but the car is in Arizona and Im in Virginia)

The change over was during the 93 production run. I would since you have a low number that it doesn't have the "E" as I thought i read it that it happen late 93, but I am not 100% positive.

You have a 4L60 in other words you have a 700R4 you do not have an electric shift trans the vett didn't go to the 4L60E untill 94 with the change to a PCM instead of a ECM (PCM powertrain control module, ECM engine control module. The re were no 93 4L60E cars built there were some trucks but the Vette did not get it untill 94, the 93 ECM is unable to control engine and trans and there is only one ECM used on a 93. If you want to know for sure only a 4L60(700R4) use a TV cable, so if you have a cable that goes from the ABS throttle pull off motor over the left valve cover and down to the trans that is the proof that you have a 4L60(700R4)
