G'Day Rod - thats the one- so there should be rubber in there - thats great to know. Should be easy to get some more rubber and refit - how heat resistant should it be???

Just bought one for my '92. It's a metal bracket that bolts to the DS of the trans and has two springs with attachment plates that hang done from the sides. There are no rubber parts and it is NOT a rigid mount.
Does anyone know where you can Buy that hangar. I'd settle for Either design - the rubber isolater (early design?) or the dual spring one. That (on my '85, Rubber) hanger is not available Anyplace I've looked, and hasn't been for several years now. I've lived without it for nearly as long as I've Had this car, coming up on nine years now
Corvette Central pn#324441 is the hanger/isolator at the back, behind the mufflers (one on each side). It is NOT the central hanger off the transmission tailshaft that we are talking about here.
