Default The Radio Blues
So the radio in my 85' would only come on for a few seconds then fade out. No sound or anything, just the display. So I got a new one and nothing, won't turn on at all. Plugged the old one back in and now the display won't even come on. Completely dead.

Anyone have any idea where to look next?

it a Bose? Lots of problems with those...

yeah it is a Bose, but I'm thinking the problem could be something else considering that neither one will work

The Bose system is complicated it sounds like you have either a bad Bose amplifier and/or speaker amps blown; both common problems with no easy fix.
