I was under the impression that because I had the TPIS bigmouth intake it was ok without a clip...?

I installed the Ford o rings and they went in farther with a nice snap.
I tested them and no leak.

how far in the rail do they go. can you see the bottom of the upper o ring, close to the bottom of the rail?

hhmmm, now it looks like it's bottomed out in the base, and now the o ring might be very close to the edge of the rail.

i just sent a pm with my cell # call me i am working till at least midnight.. there is one thing you have to do to get this right.. I have a video showing the modification to the injector to make it fit right.. That o ring on the top is still too far down, I just installed the same set up in a manifold I have in the shop and I am not comfortable that this is safe.

agreed, and very cool to offer the help.
I know I spent some time measuring it up on mine when I was getting ready to try the III's. I wish I would have known then you had a vid. and or that you were doing that service as it would have saved me some time/greif.

With Jons help I now have my fuelnjectors installed correctly.
He is a great asset to the forum.
Thanks Jon,Firevette and all who helped I will soon be starting my Vette.

i had a frozen alt pulley.-
i had to replace it .-

you can always delete the airpump with the delete kit from tpis
