Not when driving, but only over speed bumps like a really old car, even when going really slow. I checked the bushing and the sways? Any other Ideas? Will an X brace help?
Re: Squeaks over speed bumps only!? Help. (TexCorvette)
I had the same problem with my 90. I had the wheels off lubing everything. Ended up being the guide next to the buffer on the hood latch rubbing. It drove me nuts for months.... i couldn't beleive it when it was so simple !!
Good Luck

Howdy Tex!
I am a new Corvette owner. That was the biggest thing that I just could not Stand! Felt like I was driving an old clunker. I also posted the same question, I heard about the poly bushings, and also heard they need frequent lubrication. So one day I was out in the garage polishing and tinkering around. I came across some graphite lubricant I used on my old Hog's throttle and brake cables. I applied some to the bushings and Bam!! ALL GONE!!
I highly recommend this too all who reads.
Here is the stuff, I have had it for some years and it lasts forever. Hope it's still made. I bought it at one of the Harley dealers back east.
Dri Slide
Multi Purpose Lubricant
4 oz bottle
Has to be shaken very well.
Comes with a steel "3 inch needle" that attaches to the tip of the bottle for tight spaces. This is what I used to get deep in the bushings.

As I said before this stuff is the cats behind!

Press your brakes in sometimes, and see if that squeaks. Only sometimes this happens to mine, but when I press the brake pedal my calipers squeak when they are engaged.
Note: this is not brake squeak, this is the squeaking of the calipers actually engaging, it's easy to fix just have been to lazy.

Just helped a friend locate the same problem on a '79. Put the car up on ramps and get under it. Have a friend bounce the nose up and down to see if you can pinpoint it. We used an automotive stethoscope and found it was a left front bushing as well.
Another trick you can do is turn up the radio! That's how my wife would fix it.
