Tach filter is behind the LH cylinder head.

Thanks for the reply. I read the thread provided. But what is the best way to access it. Do I need to pull the distributor or maybe the wiper motor?

Putting the car on a lift is the best way to get to it. On my 89 it was held on with the top bolt on the bell housing. Its not a big job (only 2 wires and 1 bolt) took about 15 minites with it on a lift. You can even get a filter that doesn't have a bolt to mess with and just tape it to a existing wire to hold it.....WW

Thanks. I was hoping you could get to it without tearing half the car apart.
