Wow Chris. And I thought my car had a lope at idle. Sounds like you run fairly high compression by the way it labored to turn over. What does your car dyno?

I've seen his dyno numbers: 417 rwhp, 389 rwtrq

Remember that's with a stock bottom LT1. Numbers like that make idle lope seem like a small thing.

The starting problem happened when I relocated my batter to the trunk - I finally cured it for the most part with 2 dedicated runs of 0 guage welding lead, but I don't think the starter will ever be the same. I think it's time for a new one, but I just haven't got around to it yet.

Compression wise I am running 11.54:1.

Charles: Thanks! It actually is very drivable, it suprises quite a few people after all the cc306 horror stories they hear.
