OK...Heres the deal.Ever since I purchased my car (1991 Vert) Ive had the Infl Rest. light problem. It did the self test and then stayed on permanent.I tried the grounding reset thing with no luck.Well recently it rained, which it doesnt do here very often.I pushed my luck through a turn and spun the damn thing three times, blasting the curb and plowing up dirt and grass on the side of a hill.I know....WTF was I thinking!?!...I managed to get the car free and return home.Upon inspection the next day, removing clods of grass and dirt and plastic. My Infl Rest light go's out after the self test.Blinks six times, thats it!As far as damage-I broke of the black plastic that used to always scrape on low spots.Just the two outers no big deal.AND,my pass side sawblades have bad scrapes and slight bending on the outer lip.I was going to replace them shortly anyways. To make a long story short-Has anyone done this or heard of this phenomena before with the air bag light?I know the 90's had grounding problems.Could that be the case here?I had grass and dirt coming out of the side gills. My next plan of action is to put the car in the air and check for any hidden damage.Thanks....

As much fun as it may be to try this while moving (like your airbag light solution), my suggestion is to do it while the car is stationary. Perhaps even in a garage.
You're not the first one to spin one of these in the rain, so don't beat yourself up too much over it. But do pay attention to that black air dam. I lost one in a camaro and didn't realize it was a problem until I cruised down the interstate at 70mph for a while and the temp just kept climbing. As for the wheels, I prefer the look of the 5 point star wheels over the sawblades anyway. And if you want the stock look, you can usually find sawblades for a reasonable price in the for sale section.
