Cooling fans not working.

Does anyone know what would keep my cooling fans from not working?
They come on like there suppose to when the air is on.
at What temp should they come on at? it got up to around 240/250 untill I started driving then it cooled back down. Thanks

I see by your profile you have a 96.

Fans shud come on "lo" at 226# & "Hi" at 236#. With the a/c on they run on "Hi", pretty sure.

The analog gauge is not very accurate, use the the digital readout in the future. These things tend to run warmer than most vehicles.

Apparently you don't have an owners manual. If you hunt around you may find a download for one.

Yes its a 96. I have the owners manual and I have found where to use the digital readout. I will give that a try and see what that does. Thanks for your response.
