Intake plenum and runners-which is stock?
I have an '88 roadster that I have up for sale. One potential buyer has written me asking if my Engine is stock. To my knowledge it is but he is asking due to a difference between my Vette's plenum runners and those on another '88 Vette he knows.
I have two broad, flatter runners on each side with each serving 2 cylinders. He sent me a pic of an '88 with four round runner on each side (one per cylinder.)
Can anyone explain to me which is stock and why the difference?
Thanks.

The stock runners are the four tubes on each side. You have an upgraded after market set of runners. Should be worth more $$$ to the buyer. Better air flow into the intake. These runners could be on a stock intake and/or stock plenum. the stock plenum looks like the one on the right side of this picture....
Hope this helps.

If you want the stockers on there I have these, they are powdercoated. I will trade you. One thing you should know, mine has the cold start provision, you would need to block it to work on your engine.
