Squeaky Shocks
I am getting some squeaking in my front shocks while going over speed bumps lately. It only happens when its hot out though. I'm guessing that the shocks are just old and are due for replacing. So I was wondering what brands are better than others. Eg. Biltein, Monroe, elderblock or KYB something along those lines of performance.

It could be shock bushings or strut bushings. It is probably not the shocks themselves. Check the bushings for cracks or dry rot. The shocks could need replacing but that may not solve the squeaking. Get Bilstien if you need shocks.

For daily driving non-racing, KYB is your best value. If you do any "serious" high speed driving you'll probably want the Bilsteins but they will cost you.
