Default help!!!!! climate control button broken

i went outside today and when i went to defrost my windshield, the button to change the temp warmer doesnt work....so my temp is stuck on 60. Is there any way to fix this without buying a new unit? Im tired of hauling a towel around and wiping my window off every 5 minutes.

Sometimes it helps if you slap it upside the head! :yesnod: Seriously, mine does this on a rare occasion and if I hit the side of the dash (not so hard as to break anything) it'll start working again. I've since taken it all apart to replace some bulbs and cleaned all the dust out of it. Hopefully that'll help also.

The C68 is the name of the controller. it is a computer, if it is just stuck you can reset it by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. there is also a diagnostic for the C68 check this web site. http://www.idavette.net/techno.htm
bottom line..... if it is going - it is GOING! buy a new rebuilt unit from "The last detail" for $125 and spend 30 minutes to install it. I've been there! this is one of the easiest installs you can do.
