Been trying to make one for a while now, can’t make it look clean is there any way you have measurements? And what thickness steel
I had that same problem and had to take my time and use the edge of my work bench as a bending brake. Mine is angled under the heat hoses which was added difficulty. To use a simpler technique pieces can be made separate and rivet on. The metal is just standard HVAC vent that was leftover in the basement.

Yea definitely lacking the tools to make it, was having problems with my blower motor motor not working on high, and most switches don’t work. Probably going to end up deleting it all and buying a aftermarket defroster to save some hastle. I’ll have some room for a cool switch panel then haha thanks for the reply on the years old thread

My '88 had the variable switch component on top of the blower. I deleted that and ran 12v to the blower and that worked great. Just one high speed tho but that's what I needed for defrost. Good luck!
