header question???
im looking for sum headers. I have found several nice ones but what i was wandering is where to get the y pipe or does it come with the headers? I have an 85 so i all i need is it to go from the headers to the cat. If u can help me please do also if u have had good luck with your headers please tell me what kind and what u paid. im kinda on a budget here :yesnod: thanks jay

TPIS longtube headers $750, these are the best along with LPE longtubes. No need for a Y-pipe this way.

The most cost effective header you can buy is Hooker. They are a very good fit, and as far as durability, well that depends on your coating. The headers themselves are very cheap, the coating is what you pay for. Look at the Hooker 2149 or 2151's depending on if you have to have emissions.

The hooker 16720 Y-pipe will work with the Hooker 2149 headers (emission ready). You will have to get the 4 bolt cat adapter plate removed from your old Y-pipe and welded to the hooker Y-pipe.
