Steering column switcharoo.
Have a 91 steering column and a 94 thats turn stalk is broken (won't turn on high beams).
I figure it's easier just to replace the whole column. Now will the 92 columns airbag plate thingy (behind the wheel) work with the 94? Also to make the Vats work do I have to switch out the ignition switches?
Last but not least, are the wire harnesses the same?

Harness is the same. Vats needs to be switched unless they both use same key code or something. The stalk can easily be fixed without pulling the column last I remember. I switched my column in my 93 with one from a 96 but everything inside switched except for a new knuckle and pins etc. The airbag wont switch I believe the coil is different. I could be wrong.
