Default Heated O2 sensors

I changed my o2 sensors to the heated bosch version desrcibed in the teck tips section, and i needed some advice as were to run a ignition activated hot wire?

I ran mine to the wiper motor. Can't remember which wire it is that is the hot. Just probe around in there and you will find it. Good luck. Oh yeah, you did not mention were is was going. Make sure it is no further back than the collector, otherwise you will be having to move it like I have to. Good Luck.

I wrote that tech tip. There is a switched 12V source in the wiper motor or the fan relay. Either should work just fine.

What year is the car? If it's a 92 I would pull it off the fan relay on the side of the radiator, just because I know which wire it is. You may want to double check, but the pink wire on the front relay should be hot with the key in the on position.

I used the fuel pump relay, it's below the wiper motor on my '89. The large red wire is +12, and the black w/white stripe is ground. This source is hot anytime oil pressure is present in the motor.
