How does it work ?

96 LT1 question is when im running my car should the fan (1 or 2)
suppose to come on, it seems to me the only time my fan (both)
come on is when the A/C is on.. does one of the fans suppose to come on without the a/c and if it doesnt what do i do... i checked fuses and again it (both)comes on with a/c..

should come on when coolant temp. hits 228 degrees. If it comes on with the A/C then you know it is working properly.

Your fans run together. 2 speeds "hi & "LO"

On 226* & 236*. Both come on with a/c.

Suggest you use the digital temp readout as your primary.
