Parking Brake Handle Help Needed

Does any know what holds the "grip" portion of the parking brake handle to the handle? I went to release the parking brake yesterday and the grip partof the handle slid off. The brake is still working, the button you push with your thumb is sill there, and the handle functions. It's just that the grip part is off and there is exposed metal where your hand should go. I'm pretty sure it's a screw, but I don't know what size or type. Or maybe it could be a plastic push pin. Any clues or pictures?
