Started polishing runners,PITA!
Started polishing runners Sat.,wow is this time consuming.Two hours for two runners anybody have any good methods,I'm going 80-100-220-600-scotch-brite pad-polishing compound.Any ideas greatly appreciated.Thanks, Sean.

I'd skip the skotch brite pad. Once you've got it smooth with 600, you can go right to the polish. I only sanded with 180 then 220 before I polished, but I had a professional high power buff to use, so I didn't really need it to be too smooth.

this is why I would rather not have an L98... I would want to polish them... and the task would be too daunting... damn... I have a ton of respect for anyone who would want to do this...

I polished one of mine last weekend. I started with 80 and ended up wet sanding with 2000, then I hit it with some polish. I don't see how you will get yours to shine if you only go down to 600 grit. I'll post some pics if they ever get the server problems worked out. :cheers:
