No Brakes!!!
My 1990 Corvette has absolutely no brake power. When the engine is running the brake pedal is still stiff and can barely be depressed just as if the engine was off. Is this the power brake booster? could it be something else? Is there any way to check?

sounds like brake booster is not 'helping' to 'push' the brake master cylinder rod.
When the engine is running, do you hear any 'hissing' sound from under the dash or in/near the brake booster?
Do you have any bad vacume leaks? Idle vacume should be 15-20 psi..
Might the vacume line (5/8" rubber hose) to the brake booster be disconnected or damaged/leaking?
Might the check valve (the plastic thing the vacume connects to on the brake booster) be damaged or stuck or leaking?
Brake boosters do fail (most often via the rubber diaphram rupturing or the plastic housing developing a crack). Usually their tell-tale sign is it emmits a hissing sound as the vacume escapes.
