Will a 1985 maf interchange and work on a 1987 'vette? Thanks.

From what I have seen on here about this subject it should work. The aftermarket guys list just one MAF for the L98 motors. The burn off for the 85 year is controled through the ECM, the rest of the years have a 2 relay system, but I believe the difference is in the wiring and not the actual MAF it just gets it signal a different way. I'm sure some one that has replaced one will chime in

According to these guys, they're all the same.

According to these guys, they're not.

No idea what the differences are, or if they matter one bit.

It's a Bosch, and the p/n appears to be the same at Checker, Napa, and the like...

GM Parts Direct says the 88-89 are different than the '85.
